We don't list activities. We dig deep into one.
Three competitions, two volunteering stints, one club leadership role. Many students fill every box on the resume. But you can't see who the student is from that. A story isn't a collection of activities. It's picking one thing and digging to the bottom. The deliverable and the record of the process left at the end become the application's evidence.

One deep spike.
Ten thinly spread activities lack distinction. In a pool of similarly scored applicants, the student who "did a bit of everything" actually becomes blurrier. To an evaluator, "well-rounded" often means an interchangeable profile. Conversely, the trace of digging deep into one topic—a single spike with clear angularity—reveals exactly who the student is. Holistic review looks at depth and the person forged by that depth, not the number of boxes checked. That's why a story doesn't aggregate activities; it digs deep into one. Choosing from three paths.
We choose between three project paths: independent research, competitions, and capstones. If there's a deep question to explore, it's independent research. If there's a strength to test on a competitive stage, it's a competition. If the goal is a tangible product, it's a capstone. We decide based on the student's interests, strengths, and available time. Even with the same interest, the mentor knows which specific topic carries weight in an application. Selection - Design - Execution - Evidence (ACROS Process)
First, we narrow a vague interest into an answerable research question or an achievable spec. Then, we design the timeline, methodology, and validation process with the mentor. The student executes the work directly. This isn't outsourcing to a mentor; the student builds it by hand while the mentor holds the line when they get stuck. The final step is evidence creation. The finished deliverable and the record of its creation must remain together to serve as proof, not just a line on an application. All citations and data are grounded in real sources. Not a single fabricated statistic or nonexistent citation is allowed.

Mentors by your side, to the end.
The mentor's first rule is "You have to do it." They observe generally and only step in to hold the line when the student is stuck. Spoon-feeding answers means the project is no longer the student's, and that becomes obvious in the application instantly. The baseline is a 1:1 core mentor. Founder Sophia Jeong and co-founder John track a student from topic selection to the final deadline. If the topic deepens and requires specific expertise, we bring in active researchers or mentors from top universities.

One project = One price.
We price per project. We don't sell multi-year bundled packages. The student finishes the one thing they need right now, and if they need more, we decide then. Long-term, ongoing projects are handled on a monthly retainer. We do not accept success fees tied to admission results. Tying outcomes to money pulls mentoring away from admissions ethics. The fee is for the student's deliverable, not a payment guaranteeing admission.

From evidence to application.
A project doesn't end with the first deliverable. We look at how that result and the process record translate into a line on the application and a scene in the essay. The application must read not just what the student built, but who they became while building it. Admissions Story Integrationis not a separately sold consulting package. It's the final stage of the project, driven by the same mentor who drew the big picture from day one. That's why the evidence and the application never feel disconnected.
